My name is Susie. I am married and have two kids, a spunky daughter and darling baby boy. I like all things geek, reading (especially a good series), creating art, and watching soccer.

 My favorite style is probably Steampunk. I love the ornate and vintagey look. I like the feeling of things being used, lived in, old, like they have existed forever. I like the clever re-purposing of elements. It's ingenuity meets art.

About My Robots:

I love robots, they have a sweet innocence about them. My felt robots are made out of premium wool felt, embroidery floss, buttons and whatever found items I can incorporate into their design. They are stitched with a messy look on purpose. I love felt for that reason, it is great to hand stitch. I like my art to have a handmade look. I don't want to make things that look mass-produced. I like each item to be original, a real piece of art.
